Martial Art focuses on the use of weapons as a form of defence. This is
a fast paced and practical martial art that also has a sport side for
those who like to go to the extreme. The major weapon used is the 50cm
rattan stick and double rattan sticks. Other weapons also include the
daggar, palm stick and long staff.

Eskrima Group throughout the Australasian Region is teaching the current
Doce Pares Multi-styles International Curriculum of Eskrima Kali
Arnis as per GM Diony Canete's instruction, including the recently
formalised 12 Doce Pares Traditional Forms personally presented to Chief
Instructor Peter Shannon at the Doce Pares 70th Anniversary in DVD format.
This direct contact establishes the Group as one of the most up to date
Doce Pares affiliates in the World at this time.
The system is designed to be integrated by all Instructors and Students
from any Martial Arts background, without compromising any of their previous
training or affiliations.
Ongoing goals and achievements have seen the establishment of accredited
Instructors in various States of Australia, Seminars by various Filipino
Masters, Annual Training Trips to the Philippines and regular WEKAF-style
Stick Fighting Tournaments each year.
